Peter says: ‘If you accidentally cut yourself your body will automatically heal itself. If you have an emotional or psychological wound it is my experience as a therapist and a human being that the universe will attempt to heal it for you. If you allow it. Given that it’s a healing universe, we are obliged to take the medicine in whatever form it presents itself and not resist.’

Resistance often takes the form of excuses, shoulds, shouldn't, stories, sympathy and collusion by the therapist. You are invited to step out of the box of conventional thinking and be open to the possibility of “reading between the lines” of what life might be trying to tell us.

There are no rules or theories to this to follow, only a willingness to see things radically differently, which if you are interested please bring some client cases with you to explore.

This experiential workshop will include:

• The use of case studies for discussion and learning (please bring these with you where possible!)
• Exploring what we mean by "healing" and how that comes about.
• Trusting in the process (letting awareness go where it needs to go) and keeping out of the way.
• Open discussion forum.

Attendees are invited to bring case studies with them to discuss. Examples of case studies might be, where a recurring pattern has been identified in the client’s life (the universe trying to communicate a healing message) and nothing changes; Or the client and the therapist seem stuck; Or something out of the usual has happened to the client.
