Focusing is a gentle and compassionate way of sensing into the body and relating to all aspects of our experience. Participants will learn Focusing as a practice and resource for themselves as well as a means of helping clients to contact their own experience. The course will be largely experiential, working in dyads and triads as well as in the larger group, and will also include some theory and time for discussion.
Why would you want to join this workshop?
Many counsellors/psychotherapists find Focusing a profound and fascinataing process for themselves, as well as perhaps a different approach to working with clients.
What are the key benefits?
It can support counsellors/psychotherapists both personally in their work and can give them ways of helping clients to access their experience more directly.
