Man holding LGBT+ flagThis is an opportunity to learn more about the increasing number of people identifying as gender diverse or Transgender whose experience of gender may not meet the expectations of our society.

We will consider our own gender identity and develop an understanding of what it means to identify as gender diverse.

We will learn about the effect of gender dysphoria and think together about how this impacts on the individual. We will find out about the lived experience of gender-diverse people.

This one-day training course will be a mix of information sharing, interactive exercises, experiential learning, and discussion delivered in a group setting.

Gender identity is rarely included in counselling and psychotherapy training courses and this is a chance to learn more about this issue in a safe environment.
